where to begin...?

Upon perusing through multiple wedding magazines, and I do mean many many magazines, I've come across countless wedding ideas centered around the rustic fall prairie theme. And I love it!! You should see my wedding book. OK, if you insist.

Here's a photo:

And it's stuffed with the cutest ideas I've ever seen. Like this:

Or this (the wedding sign):

I guess it's safe to say that the wedding ceremony and reception will be outdoors, most likely on a farm with wide open fields and mountains in the background. It's got to have that laidback, not-trying-too-hard-to-be-beautiful, woodsy quality. We've visited The Haven at Center Hill a couple of times and love it. Now I just have to convince someone (ahem...the groom) to say YES!

What I've been working on recently are the invitations. Yeah, I know. I still have about 9-10 months before I even have to start thinking about wedding invitations. I just want to stay busy with the planning, so that it doesn't all snowball on me at the end. Especially since I'll have about a nine month period where all that I'll be eating/sleeping/breathing is my fifth-year thesis. But that's another story. The plan is to use MyGatsby for the printed elements and Cards & Pockets for the pocket folder, where they're less expensive and offer free shipping! Take a look at all the scrapbook papers I've collected for the invitation backing and other projects:

And I found the cutest stamps (here, here, and here) to use for the invitations and everything else. So they will look something like this:

And the stamps:

And now onto the Save-the-Dates! (and the caterers and photographers and florists...sigh)
